International Call for Artistic Research Works

The FilmEU European University is inviting postgraduate researchers from all over the world to submit artistic research works for the Artistic Research Exhibition (ARE 2025), taking place from 2-6 June 2025 in Sofia, Bulgaria. 

Theme: Synthetic Rewilding – Between Nature and the Machine 

The 2025 edition of ARE explores the relationship between organic and artificial realms, co-creation, and technological transformation in artistic practice. Researchers are invited to submit works that engage with ethical and aesthetic convergence, ecological and technological interactions, and new forms of expression. 

They encourage researchers to take this opportunity to showcase their work on an international platform and engage with the broader artistic research community.

Who Can Apply? 

Postgraduate researchers affiliated with an academic institution, from any country and at any academic level. Applications from researchers outside FilmEU are highly encouraged.
