XXV International Competition of Young Designers

Registrations are now open for the XXV International Contest of Young Designers "Pecherski Kashtany", taking place on 30 May 2025. 

This year’s creative concept and motto, Eco-friendly, Ethnocentric, Innovative – A New Vision of Design, challenges participants to explore urgent contemporary themes through fashion, design, and textiles. 

About the Contest 

Hosted by Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design (KNUTD), the competition is an international platform for students and emerging designers to showcase their creative work across in the categories of clothing, footwear and accessories and textiles.  

Each category includes diverse nominations—from Eco Fashion and Digital Projects to Embroidery, Patchwork, and more.

How to Participate 

Submit your original project as a video presentation (up to 3 minutes), clearly showcasing your designs or sketches. Collections must be original and not submitted to previous editions of the contest.
