REGISTRATIONS

All ELIA member attendees and voting representatives could register for the General Assembly + Campfire Chat through the link below until 15 June 2021. Voting representatives from ELIA member institutions should make sure to check the field: ‘I am a voting representative’ in the registration form, in order to receive voting credentials.

 

Who is the voting representative in my institution?

Every full ELIA member institution has voting rights at ELIA’s General Assemblies. This includes both European and non-European members. Each member institution has one vote on presented motions and elections, to be cast by their voting representative selected prior to the assembly. All members of staff are eligible to be voting representatives, although usually voting representatives are part of the institution's leadership team.

In order to vote, voting representatives must be registered with ELIA by 15 June 2021 (at the latest) through the regular registration form.

My institution is an associate member, can I attend?

Yes, all ELIA members can attend the General Assembly + Campfire Chat. Associate members have no voting rights and therefore cannot register a voting representative, however they are very welcome to join as attendees.

Electronic voting procedure

Voting during the General Assembly will take place electronically, online. In order to vote, your voting representative must be registered with ELIA by 15 June 2021. The registered voting representative will receive further technical information on how to vote prior to the General Assembly. Voting is only possible in real time during the time frame of the General Assembly. To this end each registered voting representative will be sent voting credentials.

Cannot attend?

If your voting representative cannot attend, we advise that you find another member of staff to vote on behalf of your institution on 17 June 2021. This person then becomes your voting representative. Please inform us of this change by 15 June 2021. Given the online format, we are assuming that it will not be necessary to provide a proxy vote to a representative from another institution. If you do wish to vote by proxy, we ask that you contact us.

The recording of the Campfire Chat will be made available for all members in MyELIA after the event.
