![]() ELIA General AssemblySaturday 23 November All ELIA Members are welcome to join the ELIA General Assembly, taking place on 23 November 09:30 - 12:30 CET (find your own time zone). The ELIA General Assembly will have a hybrid format so that participants can follow it either online in real-time, or in person, following your participation at the ELIA Biennial Conference. For the in-person participation, the meeting will be hosted in room G0.4 at NABA Campus, Via Carlo Darwin 20, Milan. Doors open at 8:30 CET For the online participation, members can follow the General Assembly through the Zoom link they will receive, closer to the date of the General Assembly. QUESTIONS? Who is the voting representative in my institution? Every full ELIA member institution has the right to vote at ELIA’s General Assemblies. This includes both European and non-European members. Each member institution has one vote on presented motions and elections, to be cast by their voting representative selected prior to the assembly. All members of staff are eligible to be voting representatives, although usually voting representatives are part of the institution's leadership team. In order to vote, voting representatives must be registered with ELIA by 8 November through this form. Not sure whether you can register as voting representative? Contact us. My institution is an associate member, can I attend? Yes, all ELIA members can attend the General Assembly. Associate members have no voting rights and therefore cannot register a voting representative, however they are very welcome to join as attendees. Electronic voting procedure Voting during the General Assembly will take place electronically, online. In order to vote, your voting representative must be registered with ELIA by 8 November 2024. The registered voting representative will receive further technical information on how to vote prior to the General Assembly. Voting is only possible in real time during the time frame of the General Assembly. To this end each registered voting representative will be sent voting credentials on the 22nd of November. Cannot attend? If no voting representative from your institution can attend, it is possible to provide a proxy vote to a representative from another institution. Should you wish to vote by proxy, however, we ask that you contact us by 8 November 2024.
