In solidarity with Ukraine: ELIA members action & support

In solidarity with Ukraine:
ELIA members’ action and support

ELIA sharply condemns the military aggression by Russian forces against Ukraine, a sovereign European state. We are deeply concerned for the wellbeing of Ukrainian civilians in particular artists, students and academics in the arts and their families, as well as those in Russia peacefully protesting the war. Exchange, research and collaboration across borders can only flourish in freedom and peace. ELIA stands in solidarity with all those affected and displaced by this violent conflict.

We have become aware that many ELIA members and partners are extremely concerned about the situation. Many are taking action - some are finding ways to support (exchange) students or staff in your institutions who are originally from Ukraine, while others are generously opening your doors to refugees from the region, and/or organising solidarity actions. ELIA is committed to supporting its members and the higher arts education community at large face this crisis however possible.

This webpage is meant to serve as a platform to share good practice and find links to relevant initiatives and resources. It is hoped the webpage will also inspire other members and colleague institutions to get involved.
