nexHack edtech – A virtual Hackathon

swissnex India/Boston and Movetia are organising the “nexHack edtech” - a virtual Hackathon to develop edtech-solutions relating to two challenges in the field of international education. The Hackathon will take place from 6 - 8 November 2020 and we are looking for anyone with ideas and an interest in international education to join us individually or as a pre-formed team for this international, 48h-Hackathon.

The swissnex India website will provide you with plenty of reasons to participate, the registration link and the participation details (PDF). The winning team will receive vouchers to attend a summer or winter school at a Swiss university, and the top teams with the most promising idea and prototype will have an opportunity to apply for seed-funding (up to CHF 15’000.-) with Movetia.

To make this a success, they need your support!

Possible ways of promoting nexHack are:

• Sharing the attached e-mailer and/or poster with your students, international students, students in entrepreneurship (or similar) clubs, students education studies, or other potentially interested student associations,
• Sharing it with your international partners: In fact, this could be an interesting platform for your and your partner’s students to collaborate jointly,
• Sharing it with your colleagues in the office (It’s not only for students, but for anyone with an interest in Intl. Edu.),
• Sharing it with potentially interested faculty members,
• Sharing it via social media: #learningtomorrow #nex20.
