ELIA welcomes new member: Accademia delle Arti e Nuove Tecnologie (AANT)

We are delighted to welcome our newest member: Accademia delle Arti e Nuove Tecnologie (AANT)

Since 1992, AANT has navigated all areas of the design world. The Academy building is right in the centre of Rome. Its long history dates back to Roman times, when the area was part of a vast terrain that sloped gently down from the Janiculum hill to the Tiber. At that time, the original structure was already host to creative activities such as clay working. Since then, the site has undergone innumerable changes. Centuries have passed, but it is thanks to AANT that the building still hums with creativity today.

AANT is authorised to issue 1st Level Academic Qualifications in accordance with the Higher Education in Arts and Music (AFAM) programme, and is part of the Italian university system overseen by the Ministry of Education, Universities and Research (MIUR).

AANT offers Bachelor’s degrees in Graphic Design, Advertising e Multimedia; Design Interior, Public e Product; Videomaking, Story, Cinema & Media Design; Visual Design and 3D Illustration; and Corsi Brevi. Also, Master’s degree and Communication and Design Methodologies. Students at AANT are able to obtain public and private scholarships for European projects such as Erasmus Plus and gain credits that will be useful to obtain access to Master’s Degrees, PhDs, University Specialisation Courses and public competitions. But what remains unchanged is their chief goal: to train professionals that are ready to be employed anywhere. Find out more

We are delighted to welcome a new member whose mission is to offer its young attendants ongoing creative stimuli, within and beyond courses and lessons, and are one of the first design institutes in Rome to introduce a new teaching model based mainly on direct experience.
