Séminaire d'automme de l'ANdEA
Thursday 28 October 2021

The next
ANdEA seminar focuses on how times of crisis have shifted schools, pedagogy and their relationships with the world permanently and how art universities manage to play a relevant role in this changed world. Organised at the Ecole supérieure d'art et design Grenoble-Valence on 15-17 November, it will also take place in form of remote workshops on 5-10 November, allowing all participants to meet again. Universities have just gone through a period that was challenging for the administrative, technical and educational teams, and even more so for the students, for whom, in addition to the confinement and distance learning, material difficulties were often added by the reduction of their income. This period encouraged ANdEA to take care of each other and find new solutions to maintain the connection despite everything. Today, ANdEA is happy that, despite the remaining constraints, the year that has just begun can be faced more calmly and that teams and students can find each other again.
The time we have just passed has undoubtedly changed and shifted schools, pedagogy and their relationships with the world - sometimes temporarily, but certainly permanently. Even if some of these changes were already underway before the crisis, the crisis has accelerated the process or made it necessary. It is therefore necessary to meet again, to take stock, to reflect together on where we are and to try to play a relevant role in the world to come. ANdEA is thus continuing on the path it set out on in the seminars of December 2020 and April 2021 offering online and offline workshops as part of the ANdEA seminar 'Seminaire d'automme de l'ANDEA'.
Anyone interested, and able to follow the exchanges in French, is
welcome to attend most sessions.
