Re-imagining an Otherwise: Building Futures in the Present Together

You are warmly invited to ‘Re-imagining an Otherwise: Building Futures in the Present Together’ on Tuesday 7 June 2022, from 12:00 – 16:00 BST. This is a half day event part of the ERASMUS+ Strategic Partnership project FUEL4Design: Future Education and Literacy for Designers.

FUEL4Design is a 3-year project jointly delivered by the Europeanconsortium of leading HEI partners: Oslo School of Architecture and Design (NO), Politecnico di Milano (IT), Elisava (ES) and University of the Arts London (UK). More information about FUEL4Design can be found here.

‘Re-imagining an Otherwise: Building Futures in the Present Together’ is a dialogic space to discuss of the future of pedagogical innovation and, broadly, of expanded notions of pedagogy, underpinned by the intellectual outputs of the FUEL4Design project.

KEY INFORMATION

Dates: Tuesday 7th June 2022, from 12:00 - 16:00 BST

Location: Online (link to be provided)

Structure:

12:00 - 14:00 public (open to all, everyone is welcome)

14:00 - 16:00 invited participants only (due to limited capacity we can only offer invites to participants who can commit to the full duration of the event. Those who are invited will also receive a certificate of attendance).

 

AIMS:

  • Disseminate the material produced by the F4D project
  • Extend our networks and reach out to new participants
  • Engage in dialogue, actively listen, build community
  • Co-design actionable follow-up steps for the project material

Imagine an otherwise (whether in education or beyond) that fosters more just and ethical communities of learners informed by care, respect, and responsibility. They aim to bring together a diverse group of educators who are interested in taking part in this discussion and in expanding networks, and they think that your experience and expertise are invaluable.
