Creative Economies Forum 2022

Friday 17 June 2022

The 2022 Creative Economies Forum (CEF) will feature acclaimed practitioners from the fields of innovation, research and entrepreneurship. This year’s theme is «Future Skills – Future Now». Join the keynote lectures and cross-disciplinary talks and actively engage in a series of exciting workshops at this two-day event. This event is by ‎Zurich University of the Arts‎.

Sessions will explore how to better understand what creative skills are — if we want to solve tomorrow's problems – and will debate solutions, prototypes and experiments. How do upcoming and established artists, designers and entrepreneurs see their future? How do they perceive their role in the times ahead? How can we generate «creative spillovers» and build bridges across industries? The forum will provide insights into diverse topics, including technology, smart cities, lobbying and AI at the intersections of creativity.

One highlight of the 2022 CEF will be a screening of «The New Bauhaus». The award-winning documentary portrays the life and work of László Moholy-Nagy, whose pioneering approach to integrating technology into design has lost none of its inspiring force. As another attraction, a tech company will analyze the labour market with AI applications for the creative economies.

Taking place on Wednesday and Thursday, 7 & 8 September 2022, at Toni Campus Zürich.
