We are delighted to announce our newest member: The British University of Egypt, Faculty of Arts and Humanities

The British University of Egypt (BUE) is an Egyptian not-for-profit private university. The University prides itself on offering students the best of both Egyptian and British culture, and offering students an opportunity to broaden their perspectives.

The Faculty of Arts and Humanities at BUE offers undergraduate programmes in the Department of English Language and Culture (with three career specialisations in Linguistics, Literature, and Translation), as well as undergraduate programmes in Basic and Applied Psychology, and Chinese Language and Culture.

BUE works alongside its partner university, London South Bank University (LSBU) which was founded in 1892, to offer an outstanding academic experience. Students have the unique opportunity to spend a semester or a summer abroad at their partner university in England. They aim to provide quality education that is up to UK and international standards in order to prepare highly qualified graduates for the national and international job market.

Furthermore, the Faculty of Arts & Humanities believes in creating well-rounded students, and offers various extra-curricular activities alongside their study programs. For example, they offer an Arts & Humanities Day, various student internships, and student magazines such as Psykeys Magazine or ArtSpeak Magazine for students to participate in.

Welcome to ELIA!
