CA²RE Aarhus 2023: Exchanging

The 13th CA²RE conference will take place at the Aarhus School of Architecture from 23–25 March 2023 in association with ARENA, EAAE and ELIA. Under the topic EXCHANGING, this conference builds on the topics explored at previous CA²RE events and the recommendations articulated through the recently concluded CA²RE+ ERASMUS+ project. 

Call for Abstracts, Artefacts and Papers

PhD candidates, senior researchers and staff, advanced and early-career researchers are invited to submit in-progress or concluded research projects engaged in Design-Driven research. Present and discuss your projects at the conference!

Design-driven research is an inclusive term that covers a wide range of activities where designing or other forms of artistic or creative development play critical roles in the research, including Artistic Research, Research by Design, Practice-Driven/-Based/-Led Research, and Creative Practice Research. The call invites contributions from all relevant fields and disciplines, including architectural design, environmental design, sustainable development, interior design, landscape architecture, urban design/ urbanism, music, performing arts, visual arts, product design, social design, interaction design, and others.

Programme

CA²RE Aarhus is a three-day event around a program of research sessions, discussions, and invited lectures. There is a participation fee of 100€ for in-person participation.
