The University of Priština in Kosovska Mitrovica is a Serbian higher education institution established in 1973, which is located in Kosovo. They are active participants in EU programmes such as the Erasmus Plus Programme, as well as having established cooperation with numerous universities across Europe and worldwide. They are also part of the European University Association. The university is one of 9 public higher education institutions established by the Republic of Serbia. The university has the status of a state university, as a comprehensive & multidisciplinary university, and is comprised of ten faculties. 

 

Due to the continuous expansion of its faculties, the forming of a wide range of courses and degrees, and the establishment of fully adequate conditions for undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students alike, the university was able to develop into one of the most prestigious universities in Serbia. Currently, there are around 9.000 students, 721 academic staff, and 336 non-academic staff. 

 

Their mission is to keep providing young people with high quality education and a proper perspective for the future. 

 

The university offers three levels of studies (BA, MA and PhD), at 10 different faculties and 101 study programmes. 

 

The Faculty of Arts offers Bachelor programmes in Painting, Graphics, Sculpture, Graphic Design, Music Pedagogy, Acting and Performing Arts (Piano, Violin, Viola, Cello, Flute, Clarinet, Trumpet). They offer these courses at master's level as well.
