We are delighted to announce our newest member: Satakunta University of Applied Sciences (SAMK) Satakunta University of Applied Sciences (SAMK) is a multi-disciplinary international higher education institute of over 6,400 students and over 450 employees. They are located on the west coast of Finland and are a significant creator of experts as well as a developer, a propeller of internationalisation and a promoter of entrepreneurship. SAMK's vision is that all of its students will be employed. SAMK aims to promote internationality and entrepreneurship in the Satakunta region and in all of Finland. Their slogan is “Think Future”. Located on the west coast of Finland, they have 4 campuses in total. Satakunta is the oldest historical province in Finland, located on the southwest coast of Finland. The regional centres are the city of Pori and the city of Rauma. It is a clean and safe region. It is a coastal area with lovely harbours and friendly small towns. The region is rich in history, for example with two UNESCO World Heritage Sites. It has an interesting cultural sphere and plenty of nature in the region. The university has several faculties, including Health and Welfare, Logistics and Maritime Technology, Service Business and Technology. SAMK offers both bachelor's and master's courses to Finnish and international students.
