ELIA's Newest Member: BAU College of Arts & Design Barcelona

We are delighted to announce our newest member: BAU, College of Arts & Design Barcelona 
 
BAU, College of Arts & Design Barcelona was founded in 1989, originally inspired by the Bauhaus movement. In 2003, BAU relocated to Poblenou (Barcelona) - the Catalan capital’s innovation and design district. BAU is an Art and Design College affiliated with the Universitat de Vic – Universitat Central de Catalunya.  
 
BAU's mission is to be a driving force of knowledge and innovation at the service of society. 
 
The campus consists of three buildings in Poblenou. Their facilities include audiovisual sets, sound labs, computer rooms with mac laptops, conference rooms, an exhibit space, a library, study spaces, outdoor spaces and various workshops for sewing, knitting, typography, and silk screening. 
 
The academy offers bachelor's degrees in Design and in Fine Arts.
 
They offer master's degrees in courses such as Design Research, Fashion Design and Technology, Graphic Design, and Interior Design, among others. They offer Postgraduate degrees in Illustration, Brand Design, Digital Illustration and New Media, among others. See their MA and postgraduate degrees here.   
 
In collaboration with the Australian university, RMIT, BAU also offers intensive six-week online courses. They also offer Summer University courses in the month of July.
