Belmont University-O'More College of Architecture & Design was founded in 1970 at the independent O’More College in Franklin, Tennessee and transferred to Belmont’s campus in 2018. They offer three complementary curricula –  fashion, architecture and interior design. 

 

Their aim is to recognise the importance of tradition and place while engaging in continual reinvention to serve a changing world. 

 

The campus is located in Nashville, Tennessee. Programmes in fashion and interior design are taught in the studios at Hitch Hall. Hitch Hall was transformed into a state-of-the-art design school by O’More College faculty. Students have access to cutting-edge equipment such as 3D printers, a laser cutter, high-speed plotters, EFI/Optitex computerized pattern-drafting and 3D virtual fit software and hardware, and industry-standard manufacturing equipment.  

 

They offer experienced faculty and well-equipped facilities to help foster an environment where students are offered opportunities to explore their creative talents. 

 

The college offers undergraduate courses (BA, B.F.A, B.Arch, B.S.A.S) in Interior Design, Fashion Merchandising, Fashion Design and Architecture. 

 

Aside from courses, they offer an annual student Fashion Show, Study Abroad options and various opportunities to take part in Professional and Scholarly Organisations.
