On Not Knowing: How Artists Teach Conference

Monday 22 May 2023

Save the date! The in-person conference “On Not Knowing: How Artists Teach” will be taking place from 9 to 10 June 2023, 2023 (BST). This event will be hosted jointly by The Glasgow School of Art and UniArts Helsinki and will take place in person at The Glasgow School of Art, United Kingdom.

The conference will explore the various approaches of artists who teach in higher education and beyond, featuring an international cohort of artist educators. The conference sets out to determine what is special about the way artists teach and will pose the question of how and why artists’ pedagogies in the post-compulsory sector have developed in the first part of the 21st century.
