Save the date! RCA IN SESSION Talk "I want to keep the books"

Monday 4 September 2023

Save the date! The Royal College of Art (RCA) has an upcoming free online talk I Want to Keep the Books, as part of their IN SESSION series, on 26 September 2023 (1pm-2pm BST).

This talk will explore the question, “What role does publishing, editing and writing play as part of an artist’s practice?”

This talk will bring together Artist Kathrin Böhm, RCA Tutor (Research) Dr Gerrie van Noord and RCA Associate Lecturer Dr Rosie Ram to discuss the role of publishing, editing and writing as part of an artistic practice. The event will be chaired by RCA Associate Lecturer Dr Rosie Ram.

Together they will discuss the role of publishing, editing and writing as part of Kathrin’s wider artistic practice, which includes a wide variety of collaborations. They will consider how different modes of publishing not only capture projects and events but are also sites of articulation and activation themselves. Learn more about the event and speakers here.
