Position: ELIA Membership Intern
Location: Amsterdam (hybrid, in-office and remote)
Duration: 4 to 6 months, 24/32 hours a week (FTE 0.6 / 0.8)
Start date: 1 October 2024

Job Description
ELIA is seeking a motivated intern to join our membership team, contributing to membership and community engagement in an international environment and maintaining the CRM system.
This role involves maintaining accurate membership records, actively engaging with our community through various channels, and ensuring smooth communication and collaboration with our members. The intern will also assist in data entry tasks, updating member information, and generating reports, making sure all records stay up to date. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in membership services and community engagement.
The Membership Intern must be able to work independently, think critically and see the magic in data management. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, possess strong communication skills, and have a passion for building and sustaining community relationships.
 
Responsibilities 
The Membership Intern will assist the ELIA team with: 
  • Market research
  • Data collection, data analysis, data visualisation
  • Data entry and clean-up on multiple platforms, ensuring data quality and accuracy
  • Support the analysis and dissemination of up-to-date information
  • Assist in maintaining the relationship with ELIA members
  • Assist in researching online community engagement strategies and relevant tools.
 
Requirements 
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business Administration, Data Management, Information Systems, or similar disciplines is advantageous
  • Strong analytical and research skills are a plus, studies in Research Methods or Statistics are also relevant
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Knowledge of multiple languages is a plus
  • Ability to effectively communicate and liaise with different groups and cultures
  • Working user knowledge of MS Office
  • Fast, efficient data entry skills, as well as strong attention to detail
  • Candidates should be self-motivated, well-organised with an analytical mind
  • Experience with CRM, CMS and visualisation tools is desirable
  • Basic HTML is a plus.
