Call for Papers: FL Fashion Sustainability - International Conference

The organising committee of the 'FL_Fashion Sustainability - International Conference' invites submissions for the 2nd Edition of the Conference to be held at Universidade Lusófona - Centro Universitário de Lisboa, from 28 to 30 November 2024


FL | Fashion Sustainability — International Conference, is an international conference centred on sustainability issues in fashion and related disciplines. The 2nd edition is marked by the partnership established with the Politecnico di Milano – POLIMI, which, together with Universidade Lusófona, is endeavoring to promote the conference and ensure that this edition is a success, guaranteeing the highest scientific quality. It aims to be a meeting point between Industry, Business and Academia, open to different approaches and the exchange of experiences and knowledge.

The Conference is based on 6 main thematic areas: Fashion Sustainability; Communicating Fashion Trends; Fashion and Audiovisuals for Sustainability; Fashion Tradition and Identity; Education for Fashion Sustainability; Sustainability and Innovation.

The Conference invites submissions of high-quality papers focusing on relevant, original and previously unpublished research. Submitted papers must fit one of the previously mentioned thematic areas.

The deadline for submitting full papers is 16 September 2024.

The official languages of the congress are Portuguese and English.
