Monday 5 August 2024
The International Council of Fine Arts Deans (ICfAD), founded in 1964, is a diverse and inclusive organisation comprised of deans, associate and assistant deans, directors, chairs, and other fine arts executives in higher arts education from North America and around the world. ICfAD offers annual conferences and international symposiums to support professional development and networking, with its members focusing on issues and opportunities that impact leadership, administration, and the fine arts and design disciplines. The 60th Annual Conference of the International Council for Arts Deans, Celebrating the Privilege of Arts Leadership: Nurturing Cultures of Caring + Accountability, will be held in Montreal, Canada, from 8-11 October 2024, hosted by Concordia University and the Schulich School of Music of McGill University. Additionally, a pre-conference arts and cultural immersion program will take place in Québec City from 5-8 October 2024.
This year's conference promises an enriching experience with presentations, roundtable discussions, and the unique opportunity to connect with colleagues from both the International and Canadian Associations of Fine Arts Deans. ICfAD invites you to expand your network, share knowledge, and engage in meaningful dialogue on the future of arts leadership in this dynamic event dedicated to nurturing a culture of caring and accountability in the arts.
