About the School of Digital and Screen Media

At LTU’s School of Digital and Screen Media, students are taught by award-winning media professionals with extensive industry experience. Students are taught the theory and practice needed to develop their ideas for today’s range of platforms.

Students gain hands-on experience by working on projects in our TV, radio or photography studios, while getting hands-on with the latest equipment in their purpose-built Media Centre. In addition, students have the opportunity to undertake professional work placements with broadcasters such as BBC, ITV, and Sky, as well as production companies such as True North, Daisybeck Studios, and True Vision.

With the arrival of Channel 4 and the ongoing growth of the film, TV and related industries in the region, there have never been more opportunities for media students and graduates in Leeds. LTU ranked second in the UK for student satisfaction in Communication and Media Studies, further highlighting the exceptional experience it offers.

LTU provides a range of Digital and Screen Media degrees, including Digital Media Production, Film, Games Design, Photography and Television Production.

We warmly welcome Leeds Trinity University, School of Digital and Screen Media and look forward to working together in the future.
