Get Your Copy of '(Re)searching for Transformations' from the SJDA Research Group

Wednesday 2 October 2024

Are you curious about the impactful projects and research approaches the Social Justice and Diversity in the Arts (SJDA) research group has been working on over the past two years? The research group has developed projects that explore what it means to ‘move in socially just ways’ through creative practices. The initiatives include creating inclusive spaces for dance students, discovering the wisdom found in Black and migrant barbershops, founding a protest choir, developing a teaching module, and understanding gentrification from the perspective of migrant communities.

SJDA, founded two years ago at Amsterdam University of the Arts, published their latest research-practice work in a publication titled '(Re)searching for Transformations'. It can be purchased for €9 (additional shipping costs apply for orders placed outside of the Netherlands). Order the publication >
