Call for Nominations to Join ELIA's Equity, Diversity, and Inclusivity (EDI) Working Group

Are you passionate about shaping the future of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusivity in higher arts education? ELIA is seeking nominations for two new members to join our EDI Working Group—an exciting opportunity to influence and advance meaningful change across the sector.

As a member of the Group, you will play a pivotal role in:

🟣 Developing and supporting EDI-related initiatives within ELIA.
🟣 Contributing to the creation of valuable resources and outputs for the sector.
🟣Engaging in ongoing discussions and networking opportunities on anti-discrimination and inclusivity.

We invite nominations for individuals affiliated with ELIA member organisations who possess specific expertise in EDI, such as diversity officers or lecturers specialising in this field. We also welcome those with a strong personal interest or professional commitment to EDI, regardless of their role.

We are particularly eager to involve members from diverse fields of expertise who are passionate about advancing EDI initiatives in Higher Arts Education. Additionally, we actively encourage nominations from individuals belonging to marginalised or underrepresented communities, as well as from countries currently not represented in the Working Group, to ensure a richer and more inclusive representation of the ELIA community. Application deadline: 18 December 2024

Applicants will be notified of the initial selection results by 3 January 2025. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview in January 2025.

Successful applicants will join the annual EDI Working Group meeting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna on 26 – 27 February 2025.
