First University Art Biennial in Mallorca

From 2 – 6 June 2025, Mallorca, Spain will host the University Art Biennial for the first time and will remain open to visitors throughout the summer. The University Art Biennial is a platform for emerging artists. Bringing together art and dialogue, it showcases curated works from art universities, selected by renowned professors. The Biennial celebrates youth, creativity, cultural exchange, and fresh perspectives on contemporary art, all in unique venues across the island. This international exhibition will showcase works by students and researchers in the field of the Arts. Ten Universities, each one with 10 students and 1 Professor, have been selected to participate in this first edition of the University Art Biennial. Each academic institution will present a site-specific exhibition showcasing their work. Throughout the year, an Artistic Direction Committee will continuously oversee and assess the quality of the exhibitions’ final pieces. At the conclusion of the process, an International Jury will evaluate the presentations and award the best participation. A call for new participants is open for the University Art Biennial 2025.
