The 10th Paradox European Fine Art Forum Conference will take place from 30 March – 1 April 2026 at the National College of Art and Design,
Dublin, Ireland. Titled "CCC: Connecting + Collaborating + Co-Creating – An Open Invitation to Come Together," the Forum explores contemporary Fine Art teaching, research, and practice, reflecting on art's role in civic life, critical
thinking, and democratic societies, alongside its intersections with technology and the creative industries.
Building on previous conferences (Turku 2020/21, Riga 2019, London 2017, Poznan 2015, Granada 2013, Cork 2011, Palermo 2009, London 2007, Utrecht 2006), the Dublin Forum advances progressive Fine Art education. Key contributing ELIA members include National College of Art & Design (NCAD), Turku University of Applied Sciences (Turku UAS), Burren College of Art (BCA), and Arts University Bournemouth (AUB) .
Participation Opportunities: Submissions are welcome in various formats, including papers, case studies, module designs, workshops, performances, roundtables, or other innovative presentations.
Conference Themes, CCC:
- Connecting: Embrace new voices, embed care and empathy in learning, respond to global and European challenges.
- Collaborating: Innovate teaching approaches, grow the PARADOX network, empower students, and strengthen international exchange.
- Co-Creating: Enable curriculum co-design, foster shared understanding, and develop a future-focused toolkit and collective declaration.
