Anna Eichler is a visual artist and educator working in the Faculty of New Media Art at the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology in Warsaw, Poland. She specialises in oil painting and mural painting. In PJAIT, Anna Eichler teaches Visual Literacy – Drawing and Colour, Illustration, and Mural Design and Techniques. She is the leader in foundation teaching for the zero-year and first-year graphic design students, working with them during regular classes and international workshops, like Social Design Course, Creativity! and Open-Air, among others.

In the past five years, Anna Eichler has had two individual exhibitions, participated in group exhibitions, and, as the art director of Redsheels, produced and painted over 15 murals in Poland with her crew. One of her most important projects is ‘Women of Liberty’ in Gdańsk – a 400 square meters mural commemorating the vital role that women of all ages and classes played in the Solidarity movement in Poland. Redsheels – the female mural painting crew supported women in the mural industry and trained them in mural painting, production and design, realising art and social design projects or grass-root projects, rather than painting advertisements.
