For the past five years I have been employed at Stockholm University of the Arts, firstly as a Professor in Dance Interpretation at the School of Dance and Circus and more recently (01.01.17) as the Vice-Rector for Research.

As Vice-Rector I am responsible for developing and coordinating all of the research and research education throughout Stockholm University of the Arts. I am also responsible for coordinating and prioritising both internal and external project applications.

I am a member of the board of the Norwegian Agency for International Cooperation and Quality Enhancement in Higher Education. I am also a member of the Committee for Artistic Research, Ministry of Culture in Denmark. My own research is based on the dancer’s practice and the role it plays in performative processes.
