ELIA Emerging Artists Showcase 2024

 

ELIA is pleased to announce our Open Call for the ELIA Emerging Artists Showcase 2024!

Last year, we were positively overwhelmed by the inspiring works that we received from our member institutions, works we were thrilled to share through the ELIA Student Showcase 2023.

Following its success and positive feedback, we would like to invite all our member institutions to submit the latest works by their students for ELIA Emerging Artists Showcase 2024. It would be an honour to further share the talents of this current generation of emerging artists from your institutions, talent that we hope will continue to push forward and shape the art world for years to come.

The submission deadline for ELIA Emerging Artists Showcase has been extended until 26 July 2024.

 

Share the work of your institution

To get involved:

  • Please share with us your best high-quality media that showcases the work your institution is most proud of. This can include photography, documentation of artistic practices and artefacts, fashion, and architectural plans.
  • Be sure to include the artist, artwork, institution, and media credits (photographer); we would love to credit everyone involved. (You may do so through the submission form below)
  • By submitting the images to us, you are giving us permission to publish them on ELIA's social media, ELIA publications and website, reaching a global audience of art admirers, enthusiasts and educators.
  • Fill in the form below to submit the works of your students for 2024 by 14 July, 2024.

FAQ

Yes – ELIA represents all artistic disciplines including fine arts, graphic-design, music, architecture, dance, performance, etc.

No distinction is made between bachelor, master or PhD students. We would however be happy to state the educational level and course name of the artist.

We ask for up to 20 items (images, videos, audio, etc) from your institution. However, this can be documentation of theatre performances etc. so we are aware the number of students involved may vary.

We accept commonly used formats, JPG and PNG. Please make sure they are of high quality, and we can download them.

We will accept both but stills of films alone will also be accepted in mp4 format or embeddable video (from Vimeo or YouTube).

No – this will not be treated as a competition.

14 July 2024. There is flexibility with the date so please contact us if you need to make a separate arrangement.

Yes, the work of art should have been completed within the last two years.

Yes, we will promote the work via a gallery on our website. You can take a look at the previous ELIA Student Showcase here.

No, we will not be charging for this. All ELIA members are welcome to submit work by their students.
