This thesis explores the use of traditional Korean hanji paper in contemporary furniture design for interiors. The aim was to design a collection of original furniture pieces that combine the traditional Korean craft technique of jiseung with a modern aesthetic. The main output is a luminaire in the form of a screen that combines hanji with stainless steel and allows for individual adjustment of light sources. The work shows that hanji can be used not only decoratively but also as a fully functional element in modern interiors thanks to its innovative design. The resulting collection represents a unique combination of tradition and contemporary design and offers new possibilities for the application of hanji in the field of interior furniture.
