Fashion & Technology is a Bachelor's and Master's degree programme for future-oriented fashion design and is aimed at designers who want to help shape and explore the future potential of fashion in the areas of sustainability, inclusion, and diversity.

The programme is aimed at designers who want to explore the future of fashion. Blending design and research, the programme is about sustainable and inclusive ways to see, wear and create.

We focus on respectful solidarity and celebrate the idea of diversity. Our students use technologies as creative tools to develop critical design strategies, expand ideas of materiality and set up conscious production processes.

More than 40 international experts lead practice-oriented workshops in creative robotics, experimental knitting design, open-source strategies, soft wearables, biomaterials.

International excursions, photoshoots, shows and exhibitions complete the programme. The programme's partners make a variety of technologies available. Students can weave their own fabrics at Textiles Zentrum Haslach, produce their own bio-materials at the Bio Fabrication Lab, cooperate with the Lab of Creative Robotics, use the facilities at Grand Garage such as laser cutting and 3D printing, and present their projects to an international audience at the Ars Electronica Festival.
