Managing Health & Wellbeing during a Global Pandemic

Thursday 7 May 2020

This online session focused on how to best deal with the concerns of students and staff during the period of uncertainty. What new processes can educators put in place to ensure the healthy continuation of teaching and learning?

Rotimi Akinsete, Associate Dean of Students (Wellbeing & Inclusion) at the University of the Arts London (UAL) shared his experience and reflections on how UAL has dealt with the question of well-being of students in the past, and how they are adjusting their practices to deal with this crisis situation.

Rebecca Duclos, ELIA Board member and Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts at Concordia University, touched upon how best to rethink staff time while supporting the continuation of teaching.

The recording of the online session is available exclusively to ELIA members here.
