INOUT interviews Universon, an emerging multimedia artist who has been experimenting with various technologies, including artificial intelligence in recent years.
Universon describes the latest project “[S]”, a virtual world in which one can live in alternative life and talks about that world and how you can experience another reality inside it, thanks to the use of new technologies like virtual reality etc.
The INOUT GROUP is made up of Francesca Paganelli, Walter Maiorino, Alessia Mutti, Eleonora Scarponi (Multimedia Art Course, Biennal degree), 2022. The INOUT team of students presented its research on Artificial Intelligence during the project's Summer School (Monte Compatri, September 2022), and will soon publish it on the Research Catalogue, the most important European platform dedicated to artistic research.
The INOUT team has grown into the Course of Multimedia Arts at the School of New Technologies of Arts of the Fine Art Academy of Rome. INOUT participate in various forms in the activities of the European project EU4ART_differences, dedicated to artistic research. Read more>

The Birth of a Digital Art Realm is a digital landscape into Mozilla Hubs, an open source platform for bringing communities together in a shared virtual web-space. There are four distinct, visitable areas in this Arctic landscape that recall different natural and geometric elements, within which are sculptures and 360-degree videos that evoke a dreamlike, surreal dimension.

Lui non lo sa (He doesn’know it) an action-video. In the 21is st century, humans are completely inseparable from cell phones, the Internet and Google's artificial intelligence. When you want to go to an unfamiliar place, you talk to Google Maps, and it automatically and intelligently suggests the route, even calculating the time it takes to reach your destination and even directly showing pictures of that place with Street View. But what if you want to go to a place that Google Maps doesn't know about?

This is the video-presentation of BACKSTAGE / ONSTAGE, a multimedia editorial project created by a group of selected students from the Rome Fine Arts Academy and thanks to a partnership between The Rome Fine Arts Academy, Arshake, and Romaeuropa Festival, one of the most important international events, bringing excellence in theatre, dance, performance and music to Rome every year, in close contact with the most diverse realities to be found in the city.
