ELIA Working Group Arts in Education needs your input

Friday 19 March 2021

The ELIA Working Group Arts in Education needs your input! Lifelong learning is part of ELIA’s new Strategic Focus 2020-2024 and we are excited to start building a new ELIA community around this topic.

In the past years the working group has been looking at how art subjects are being taught in primary and secondary school across Europe. In addition to this, it is now focusing our attention on areas where higher arts education is of more immediate impact, such as lifelong learning and teacher training.

In a first step, the attempt is to find out which ELIA members are engaged in teacher training and continuous education and to learn a bit more about the scope of your programmes. It would be great if you found a moment to answer the super short questionnaire on this topic: it consists of a few easy questions and takes less than 5 minutes to fill in.

PS: Stay tuned for exciting updates on the launch of ELIA’s new Arts in Education Platform! Cannot wait? To get a feeling of what the platform will be all about, you can now watch the recording of the session on arts in education that took place at the ELIA Biennial (Digital) Conference 2020.
