Host the PIE Annual Meeting 2026

Lead the global conversation on internationalisation in higher arts education. ELIA member institutions are invited to nominate themselves as hosts for the 2026 edition of this key annual event, organised by the Platform for Internationalisation ELIA (PIE). PIE is a vibrant forum for exchanging knowledge and best practices around the many dimensions of internationalisation in higher arts education. Alongside regular online gatherings, PIE hosts a dedicated annual meeting that brings together about 100 heads of internationalisation, deans, policymakers, researchers, educators, and staff from ELIA member institutions. This sector-specific event is a key moment for the internationalisation community to connect, exchange ideas, share research, and spark new collaborations. Read the Call for Nominations of Venues>
Why host the PIE Annual Meeting 2026? As the host institution, you will: - Showcase your institution’s work and perspective to an engaged international audience;
- Collaborate with ELIA and the PIE working group to shape a rich and relevant programme;
- Position your institution as a thought leader in internationalisation in higher arts education;
- Welcome colleagues from across the globe to your campus and community;
- Contribute to the curatorial and creative direction, play a key role in the selection process, and explore innovative approaches to the programme’s structure and formats.
