Call for New PIE Working Group Members
Tuesday 14 October 2025

Are you interested in driving collaboration, exchanging insights, and supporting practical approaches to internationalisation in higher arts education? ELIA’s PIE Working Group is looking for four new members from four ELIA member institutions!
PIE provides a space for members to strategise and share knowledge on how to internationalise effectively and ethically. By promoting good practices in mobility, curricula, and partnerships, PIE helps keep ELIA a globally connected community committed to broadening the horizons of higher arts education while staying true to its values.
PIE addresses and is open to policymakers, deans/directors and heads of internationalisation, teachers and other staff members of ELIA member institutions who are researching, advising on, making strategies and policies, and implementing internationalisation.
Role of the Working Group Members The Working Group aligns its priorities with ELIA’s values, strategy, and community needs, creating a two-year activity plan to achieve its objectives. As the governing body of the PIE Community, it drives dialogue, engages members, represents their interests across Europe and beyond, addresses key issues, organises events, and contributes to the ELIA Strategy and programmes.
Who Can Apply? We welcome applications from individuals affiliated with ELIA member institutions who have expertise or strong interest in the group’s focus areas, regardless of their role. Priority is given to those involved in developing internationalisation strategies and highly motivated to contribute to PIE, especially candidates from underrepresented regions (Southern Europe, Non-EU countries, UK). Applicants should demonstrate professional expertise, interest, or active engagement in internationalisation and a willingness to participate in discussions and initiatives.
