Internationalisation in a changing World

First Virtual PIE started a discussion on the meaning of internationalisation for higher arts education institutions in crisis time. PIE members were invited to share their experiences and concerns regarding the coronavirus impact on their institution’s internationalisation plans, international affairs, the wellbeing of students and staff.

Presentations were given by:

Aparajita Dutta, Head of International Affairs, The Royal Academy of Art in The Hague, Netherlands
Aparaijta, PIE Coordinator pointed out the main challenges that institutions are facing during the coronavirus crisis, particularly from the perspective of International offices and the impact on internationalisation.

Maria Jaber, International Partnerships Head, NABA, Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti, Italy
Maria presented the approach and the solutions that her institution has implemented to face the current situation, specifically looking at international students inquiries and showcasing the NABA Open Day Online.
