ETHO

We are very pleased to announce that in January 2020 ELIA and ETHO signed a collaboration agreement to join forces.

ETHO (European Technical Heads Organisation) is a network of higher art education technical staff. Established in 2016, ETHO aims to advance hands-on learning and innovation in all artistic disciplines through an inclusive community.

ELIA and ETHO share the aim to empower higher arts education and facilitate the exchange of good practices.

ETHO holds two annual events: one, enabling technical staff to share knowledge across the network; and the second aimed at technical leaders focused on the strategic development of technical services.

The ELIA Representative Board and team welcome ETHO which functions as a platform within the ELIA network, similar to PIE (ELIA Platform for Internationalisation). All ETHO events and knowledge sharing will be accessible to all ELIA members.

During the pandemic year 2020, the ETHO community engaged actively with each in three webinars offered in the space of two months, addressing the urgent questions facing the technical professionals at that time.
